El 27 de abril de 1920 el Sr. Obispo Mons. Dr. Juan Gaspar Stork, da el decreto de erección de la Coadjutoria Territorial de San Isidro de Puriscal.

En el Tercer Sínodo Arquidiocesano decretado por el Sr Arzobispo Mons. Rafael Otón Castro, en el Nº 90 de los Estatutos Sinodales se erige la Parroquia de San Isidro de Puriscal, dichos Estatutos Sinodales rigen a partir del 2 de agosto de 1924.
